Mike is an experienced martial artist who has been training for over 25+ years. He began his jiu jitsu journey in 1997 after he got out of the Marine Corps. He received his black in 2006 belt from Master Pedro Sauer, one of the most skilled instructors in the field. Throughout his career, Mike has developed a strong sense of community and has worked to empower others through his anti-bully programs for kids and his women's self-defense seminars.

In 2010, he opened his own martial arts academy in Park City, where he continues to share his vast knowledge and help others hone their skills. With decades of experience backed by a deep passion for martial arts, Mike truly stands out as one of the best instructors around. Whether you're an experienced practitioner or a complete beginner, you can benefit from his extensive knowledge and unparalleled expertise.

ZACH “TRUCK” BOSKOVICH

Black Belt Instructor

Zach started training Jiu Jitsu as a new year resolution in January of 2007. After several moves he found a home and a team training under John Carlquist and James Gardner at Unified Jiu Jitsu, from whom he received his black belt in August of 2016 as well as the moniker Zach ‘Truck’ Boskovich.


Zach enjoys sharing the knowledge he has acquired through years of daily training and thousands of hours on the mat refining his technique. Along with his pursuit of knowledge on the mat he received a bachelor’s degree of science in mathematics from BYU and most importantly is a devoted husband and father of four.




CODY SHEPHERD

Black Belt Instructor

Cody started training Jiu Jitsu under Master Pedro Sauer in 2002. He earned his Black belt in 2018. He is an excellent instructor, and has taught women’s and children self defense classes over the last 8 years.
